"He [Meiwes] tells Joerg that cannibalism should be propagated as a form of development aid: "We could solve the problem of over-population and famine at a stroke.""

Where's Charlton Heston when you need him?
On another note, I'm initiating the "Entry title trivia challenge". Correctly guess the origin of the headline and I'll add it to your score, which will be displayed in the left column. Today's entry title is worth one point.
I think in the history of your blog, I recognized one title. I will not do well on this game.
Well, I've been intentionally obscure in the past; occassionally even going so far as to post snippets of lyrics you won't find using Google.
I promise not to be so obscure in the future. Maybe I should post a list of where all the others came from to give people ideas of where I grab these things.
I should also point out that I'm going to try and keep the titles somehow related to what I post. That hasn't always been the case in the past.
Hmm. Can we claim points for PAST titles?
This is morbid, but is this title an answer to how people.. uh... taste?
I was about to ask how the taste of people was morbid, but then understood. *ahem*
I've decided to post the answers after 24 hours.
The answer to this one is: "What does Soylent Cola taste like?"
Or rather, it's Leela's response to Fry's question on that subject, from season one of Futurama. ("Fry and the Slurm Factory")
So Derek was correct in the basic sense. But not precise enough.
Yes, right in the basic sense, but not correct enough for me to award a point.
Dammit. I saw that eposiode too. Doh.
