If the weather co-operates tonight then I should get to take a peek at Mars using UNB's telescope.

Update: So, I get there at 10:30 and sit through a 45 minute presentation that made me long for some of the undergrad classes I had been forced to take. Then they tell us that people who had been there earlier had been given slips of paper with a time on them, and that if we didn't have a slip we'd have to wait until a free time spot opened up. (Slips? There was nothing in the announcement about needing slips.) The earliest time available? 01:30.
There is going to be lecture-free telescope access again tonight. Also, as it turned out last night, they had a number of smaller telescopes out on the lawn down in front of what I believe is the (old?) arts building.
And the lecture wasn't *that* bad. ; p

I suppose it wasn't that bad. I just wish he could have kept what all the colours meant straight. I'm positive he messed up on a few others but I couldn't tell for sure as the screen was too blurry.
As for the Old Arts building (aka King's College building, aka some other official name that no one ever calls it. Even the UNB website calls it the Old Arts building), here's my map of it relative to NRC:
Or, if you prefer, there's UNB's map. NRC is right next to Ludlow Hall (No. 34), and the Old Arts is No. 48.
That would probably be where it was though, as it has a nice big lawn in front of (behind?) it.

Yes, that's the building. It was on the lawn side, the side closer to the river.

By the time I left work all I wanted to do was stuff my face and go to bed.
