(Ramblings) And Knowing Is Half The Battle

The following is an important message to all aspiring bakers out there:

Do not accidentally mix up the amount of muffin mix and water when combining the two in a bowl. The results will be just a little soupy.

You have two options for your muffin soup:
1) Add more muffin mix, until it balances out.
2) Pour the muffin soup in a pie crust, and make muffin pie.

I strongly recommend the latter.  And take pictures.

Well, I didn't have any more muffin mix, and I don't have any pie crusts or things to make pies in.

Instead, I dug around and added any baking ingredients I had in an effort to thicken it up. I was all out of flour, but I added oatmeal (they were oatmeal muffins to start with), cookie mix, baking powder, more oatmeal, etc.

It got slightly thicker at the end, but they still came out damp and heavy, so I just chucked the whole thing.

Pictures would have taken several weeks to a year or two anyways, I'm not known for filling up film that quickly.

The target of your message is misguided. Aspiring bakers probably won't make their muffins from mix. Now, me, on the other hand - that's something entirely different. And I do appreciate your sage and learned advice. :-)

Also, have you considered perhaps the film of no length? DIGITAL FILM! Or a CCD, if your boring. Then we could have your pictures Right Now, instead of Sooner or LATER.

Also, when you make this muffin pie of which you speak, I demand to taste it. Can't possibly be worse than my oatmeal chocolate-chip muffin squares of aught-one. ;-)

Well, a digital camera is on my wish list, however food is higher up on the 'what should I spend money on this week?' list.
