Arise Ye Workers From Your Slumbers
This is the funniest thing I saw while I was in Dallas. The colours are a bit off (a bit too much yellow, and I still am figuring out the GIMP), but I think you get the idea. I'm surprised that at some point during the process, somebody didn't mention to them that painting the giant stars reddish (or yellow on reddish) probably wasn't the best of ideas.
Everyone knows Texas is the heart of American Communism.
Yeah, you know those people from Texas. I actually didn't notice that on my trip. They do have some pretty interesting buildings though.
Ahhhh... The people. I can't say I got to interact with many people who weren't involved someway in running the various stores/museums/hotels/restaurants/&c. that I was in, but some of them were interesting. Like the one store owner who went off on a big rant about people moving to Texas from other states (more specifically: northern states), and how they didn't want them, or the other one with a placard posted with the infamous Hitler gun control "quote" on it. For the most part though, everyone else was incredibly polite and easy going.
As for buildings: there probably are a few pictures of some somewhere, but there're way too many photos, and going through them on this machine is probably going to take some time.
